Some days call for a homemade dessert, and some days call for a wonderful little shortcut. This White Chocolate Bread Pudding from Bergeron’s Boudin and Cajun Meats of Shreveport has quickly become one of those treats we are happy to keep in the freezer.

It comes frozen in its own small baking pan, so there is no mixing, measuring, or pile of dishes waiting afterward. Simply remove the wrapping and bake it at 350°F for approximately 45 to 60 minutes, following the directions on the package.
From the Freezer to the Table

As it bakes, the top turns beautifully golden while the center becomes rich, tender, and wonderfully soft.
I would normally describe it using the word “moist,” but my church sister McKenzie absolutely cannot stand that word. So, just for her, we will say that this bread pudding is perfectly soft, rich, and delicious all the way through. No forbidden baking words required!
The white chocolate gives it a lovely sweetness without making it feel too fancy. Served warm, it makes an easy dessert for a quiet evening at home, an after-church lunch, or a last-minute gathering around the table.

Our Daily Bread
A bread pudding post seems like the perfect place to remember the simple words Jesus gave us in the Lord’s Prayer:
“Give us this day our daily bread.”
Matthew 6:11, KJV
Our daily bread is about far more than food. It is a reminder that every good thing we receive comes from God’s faithful hand, including the meals we share, the people gathered around our tables, and even the occasional sweet treat at the end of the day.
