Welcome to The House on Jefferson
Welcome to The House on Jefferson, our circa-1915 home in Shreveport’s Historic South Highlands. This is where I share everyday life at home, decorating, gardening, faith, family, hospitality, vintage finds, and all the old-house mysteries we keep stumbling into.
We’re also digging into the people who lived here before us, old photographs and records, the home’s architecture, and its possible path toward historic recognition. Somehow there is always one more rabbit hole to fall into, and I am usually more than happy to do it.
Come on in. I’m so glad you’re here.
